Western Olivaceus Warblers

Western Olivaceus Warbler Hippolais opaca in Sevilla, Spain 8.7.2010. Fotos: Hannu Koskinen
Three (+1cy) individuals.
Very similar to Eastern Olivaceus, from which was recently split:
-song different (needs experience)
-on average browner above
- pale lores
-long and strong bill, which is from base wider and sides straight
-in addition sides of bill are "swelled" = "a bit open "(see last photos)
-usually lacks pale panel on secondaries (but compere this to this first bird!)
-no tail "pumping"
